Initial Consultation
During the initial consultation, our lead web designer will work with you to gain a good understanding of your business and web design needs. The following topics are generally explored during the initial consultation:
- Purpose - What is the purpose of the website? Does it provide information, collect information, offer a product for purchase, etc.?
- Goals - What do you hope to accomplish with the website? Are you looking for more sales leads, a destination for customer information, a way to facilitate monetary transactions, etc.?
- Target Audience - Is there a specific group of people you wish to reach? Are you trying to reach a certain demographic or cater to a broader audience?
- Content - What type of information or experiences are you hoping to provide your visitors? Will there be pictures of your product/service, an informational video of a difficult to understand service you provide, a store for customers to purchase items, a form to collect estimate requests, etc.?
- Branding - What type of brand have you already created for your customers? Are you using a logo? What are your company colors? Do you have a company slogan?
Initial Design
Before anything is programmed, we take a moment to sketch a design or two using the information we gathered during the initial consultation. During this phase of the process, our goal is capture any changes you may want to make to either of the designs. The last step in this phase is for us to draft the final statement of work and final cost estimate for your approval.
Iterative Revisions
After you accept the final statement of work and final cost estimate, we officially begin work on your website. Throughout our iterative revision process continuously check in with you to give you a preview of the website while we are in progress. Because these drafts are visible to you along the way, we are able to capture any additional requirements you may have had that were not a part of the final statement of work.
Website Launch
After all of the development is complete and you are satisfied with the finished product, we prepare to officially launch the website.
